Updated 2 weeks ago by Totalcloud

To generate AWS 'Access Key' to provide access to TotalCloud, follow the below steps:

  1. Sign in to your Amazon IAM management console.
  2. Click on Users from the left menu.
  3. Click on Add User button.

  1. Add a User Name, and select Programmatic access check box to generate access key ID and secret access key for AWS API, CLI, SDK, and other developmental tools.

  1. Set permissions. We recommend not to give any permission during set up.

  1. Review all the information and generate access key ID and secret key ID.

  1. Go back to TotalCloud and paste the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key in the input field.

We suggest you to add the following policy to the role or user to make the TotalCloud experience a breeze.
